In association with the engineering school Arts & Métiers ParisTech (ENSAM), Dassault Systèmes’ Academia team has developed an engaging learning activity based on Poppy, a Humanoid Robot, and 3DEXPERIENCE.
POPPY is an open source project combining the creation of a robot in 3D-printed components and the Virtual Twin concept. The collaborative, interdisciplinary project uses the 3DEXPERIENCE platform to give the chance to implement the Virtual Twin concept on a robot.
The combination of Poppy with the 3DEXPERIENCE produces a broad set of experiential learning opportunities in projects and disciplinary teaching of Mechanical engineering, Mechatronics engineering, the Internet of Things, Manufacturing, and Industrial engineering.
This course will introduce you to the concept of Digital Twin from the physical mock-up to nowadays’ various implementations in engineering and pedagogical environment thanks to the 3DEXPERIENCE® platform.
