Abaqus/CAE: vibration analysis of a 3-D Beam structure nicolas200

This tutorial, created by Hormoz Zareh (Portland State University), will teach you how to (a) sketch the three-dimensional frame, (b) define the material properties and section properties of the frame, (c) define Beam section orientations, (e) assemble the model, (f) configure the analysis procedure and output requests, (g) apply modal analysis boundary conditions to the frame, (h) mesh the frame, (i) create a job and submit it for analysis, and (j) view the results of the analysis.

Introduction to Nonlinear Structural Analysis and Thermal Analysis f_koudsi

This course introduces two products, Nonlinear Structural Analysis (ANL) and Thermal Analysis (ATH). Together, these products extend the existing CATIA V5 Analysis capabilities. They let designers extend their product simulation capabilities to consider permanent material deformation, large displacements, and advanced contact, as well as response to thermal loading. You will follow the general process to perform a finite element analysis for parts and assemblies and learn how to use the different tools to achieve this.

Introduction to Abaqus 3DS

Upon completion of this course you will be able to:

  • Use Abaqus/CAE to create complete finite element models.
  • Use Abaqus/CAE to submit and monitor analysis jobs.
  • Use Abaqus/CAE to view and evaluate simulation results.
  • Solve structural analysis problems using Abaqus/Standard and Abaqus/Explicit, including the effects of material nonlinearity, large deformation and contact.

CATIA V5 to V6 Analysis Transition 3DS

This course will introduce you to CATIA V6 and the fundamental concepts of PLM. You will learn how to search for models in the V6 database and how to import existing V5 data. Using a role-based scenario in the context of an assembly you will learn how to design parts in collaboration with other users, perform modifications, check impacts, and propagate the modifications to the impacted parts. You will also learn how to perform a finite element analysis for structures in CATIA V6 (preprocessing, computation, postprocessing, and assembly analysis)
