Bringing technology practicals inside the kids’ bedroom.

In collaboration with Mr Marano, a technology teacher at Michelet highscool, near Paris, Jordan (3D Experiences Lab intern) created with 3DVIA Composer a virtual laboratory allowing pupils to discover Computer Numeric Control machines in an innovative way.

Based on the concrete example of Charly4U™ machines, this unprecedented online application gives the users the possibility to manipulate virtually the machine. Offering a vivid user experience, it also allows them to work in a safe environment or to make mistakes and they can even work at home.

Mr Marano used this application as a course material to make the students more autonomous, but also to figure out what impact 3D animations can have on their motivation, their learning capabilities and performance.
